Informal, Fun, Novice Racing and help on Friday nights.

Friday nights are club nights, why not come and get involved?

As a sailing committee we are trying to increase the facilities and opportunities open to club members. The Friday night initiative is designed to get more inexperienced people on the water with help and support. Aimed at those who enjoy their sailing and would like to get a bit more involved in club activities but are a little nervous of joining the main racing. Great for a bit of support in rigging, launching or improving your sailing

  • Racing provisionally starts at 7pm
  • Advice and assistance from 6pm
  • If you need a crew or a helm or a boat then meet in the Sailing School Training room
  • Boat hire available if required £10 per boat (£20 non-members)
  • Food available after sailing.

This activity is a club activity supported by the Sailing School and funded in part by an RYA Initiative. Please take this opportunity to get involved. Any questions email or tel. 01780 721999

Extend the weekend and come and join in.

If you are a good racer why not come and sail with someone else?

Boat park tidy up - what has happened?
Written by Fiona Tylecote
Wednesday, 14 April 2010
The dinghy park tidy up has happened. Many thanks to the many people who came to help, I hope the bacon sandwiches and cup of coffee helped slightly in delaying the onset of sunstroke! Wasn’t it gorgeous – and no wind, so now pining for the water..
