This youtube clip says it all. A very sad tale - we hope everything works out well for them.
Members of Melton are talking to officers and members of RSc in case we can help.

The fifth Rutland Sailing Club Holiday week finished in a
competitive blast as all competitors took part in a Topper relay race just off
the front lawn. This was the finale to a fantastic week where the sailors
combined racing with Dunkirk re-enactment ( with artistic license); A full
scale Pirate battle; Ice cream sails; model boat building and racing; stunt
teddies competing in parachute jumping as well as zip wire action. There were
pub quizzes; Singing Sally; teddy bears’ picnics and a big end of week disco.
There was barely time for sleep!

Rutland sailors first and second at 29er Nationals.
Congratulations to Will Alloway and Matt Venables; Ian Payne and Chris Berry
who gave Rutland SC 1st and 2nd in the RYA Youth class showing the strength that
the junior programme has developed.
Congratulations also go to Ed Connellan and Matthew Rhodes,
Andrew Kilburn and Calum Healey and Luke Berry and Henry Morley who all made
the Gold fleet in a highly competitive competition.
This was a fantastic result for the individuals concerned as well as for Rutland Sailing Club showing that even Inland sailors can go fast on the sea.
The boys were seen back on Rutland Water this weekend competing in the prestigious Club Championships.
