Race Training on 25th July.
We had fabulous conditions for the training. The wind was along the shore enough to allow us to set the course near the club but the Southerly component kept it quite unstable with significant gusts and lulls and some reasonable shifts ...but not so big as to require us to re- lay the whole course ; just a few changes of windward mark for the 1 lap races... |

Laser Midland Travellers Trophy at Rutland. A view from the toestraps by Jon Williams
Ten RSC sailors were joined by 20 visitors to make a decent sized fleet for this four race event. As we sailed the run down to the dam for the first start it looked like a pleasant 12 knots, but by the start area the reality was nearer 15 gusting 20 knots.

Club Race Training Sat 25th July
Skills based open to all levels and all dinghy and asymmetric sailors
Intro to Racing Sun 2nd August
The long awaited date has now been published.All you need to know to get you around the race course.
Two of the club's regular training days are coming up over the next few weekends – if you would like to improve your racing, sailing or just find out how club racing works then these are the days for you.
They are run voluntarily by club members and are free to club members.
