Hi Guys
We started off the junior session on Friday as normal this weekend. This time we were in the fortunate position of having three coaches and ten juniors. This meant that the guys got a lot of individual attention.

Hi Guys,
Friday evening saw the 16 Juniors stranded on land. This was due to the wind being so strong it was blowing dogs off leads. We still managed to have lots of fun though and ran some sailing related and non sailing sessions on the lawn in front of the club.. |

A mixed group of Lasers, double handed dinghies including the feva aces, a Rustler keelboat, topper and a scud joined the Saturday club race training. Fantastic conditions brought everyone onto the water this weekend. The sunshine was out and the winds were up.
It was so popular that just getting off the shore in the onshore winds required a little bit of extra effort. Fiona and Steve were seen leaping frantically out of their boat as a lack of concentration sent them reversing back into the shore as they tried to duck the Picos and ribs on the shore. The ‘never off the water’ Topper sailors Izzy White and Ted Ashworth had to pick their way through the shoring RS sailors in for lunch.
The water was full of people with huge smiles on their faces.. |

Psychic wind predictions enable a fantastic weekend’s sailing.
With great forecasting skills the pursuit race on Monday took place in the only decent wind of the day allowing everyone a great competitive sail.. |
