The grey skies of Tuesday morning did little to dampen the spirits of the Ladies that Launch as 12 of them took to the water (yesterday) with lots of laughter and smiles.
Following a short briefing from Mike they then made their way round a course with considerable ease showing just how far they have come on in the last few weeks. There was even some talk of racing in the future! It was particularly nice to continue to welcome new faces to the group – this week Doris and Caroline joined us an seemed to have had plenty of fun. With a lighter wind this was a gentle introduction to the group.
So why not give it a go yourself – we are a friendly lot (I think) and co-operative in the extreme. It is a great way to get on the water in a safe and sociable environment and well worth giving a go. If you fancy joining in just give the sailing school a ring to let them know you are coming. 01780 721999.
See you there! |

It is appropriate for all levels, a great way to get some informal help and an even better way to meet new friends... |
